Who should talk to a doctor before taking AGE+
- People taking blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (such as warfarin, clopidogrel or daily aspirin). Resveratrol may slow blood clotting and could increase bleeding risk.
- People taking medicines processed by liver enzymes such as CYP3A4 and CYP2C9. Resveratrol can affect these enzymes and change drug levels. Your pharmacist can check your list.
- Anyone with a hormone-sensitive condition. Resveratrol has weak estrogen-like activity in some studies.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women. There isn't enough safety data, so it's best avoided unless your doctor advises otherwise.
